An auto blog is simply a blog that has been automated. Usually the automation is the posting of content originating from RSS feeds, article directories, other blogs, or even original content written in advance and scheduled to auto post at a later date. However, content is not the only thing that can be automated.

These days, you can even build a blog that auto promotes itself. No joke, there are blogs that have been setup to automatically build back links for every blog post. Now that’s what I’m talkin about!

Marketing tools are becoming more and more sophisticated and auto blogs can be built to be completely autonomous taking you out of the equation all together once the initial blog setup is complete. At that point, you can walk away and let the blog accumulate value so you can either hold for cash flow or flip for quick cash.

I personally like to do a combination of both. I build several auto blogs each week and keep about 50% for myself for long-term cash flow and sell the other 50% for immediate cash.

These days, I am taking more of an interest in auto blogs for obvious reasons. I love putting them together because it gives me an opportunity to show off my creativity and I love brain storming niches. Auto blogging will remain a permanent part of my business as for as long as they remain profitable.
